Frequently Asked Questions
Everything about Palworld breeding, unique combos, and cake recipes.
1 How does Palworld breeding work?
Each Pal has a hidden "breeding value." When you place a male and female Pal in the Breeding Farm, the game averages their breeding values and produces the Pal whose value is closest to that average. Some parent pairs always produce the same offspring — those are called "unique combos."
2 How do I breed a specific Pal?
Use the reverse lookup mode. Select the Pal you want, and PalBreed will show you every parent pair that produces it. Start with the pair that uses Pals you already have.
3 How many cakes do I need for breeding?
One cake per breeding attempt. Use the Cake Calculator to convert your planned number of attempts into exact ingredient amounts.
4 What are unique breeding combos?
Unique combos are parent pairs that always produce the same offspring regardless of gender or individual Pal stats. For example, Relaxaurus × Sparkit always produces Jetragon.
5 Is PalBreed free?
Yes. All tools are free to use. No account, no payment, no ads.
6 How is this different from other calculators?
PalBreed combines parent-to-offspring lookup, reverse target lookup, and cake ingredient calculation in one place — so you don't need to switch between multiple tools.
7 Is there a mobile app?
No — but PalBreed works great in any mobile browser. Use it on your phone, tablet, or Steam Deck.
8 Can I save my breeding plans?
Not yet. Bookmark frequently used Pal pages to quickly check parent combinations.
9 Is the data up to date?
PalBreed uses community-sourced data from the current game version. Each page shows the data version and verification date.
