1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using palbreed.space (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Fan-Made and Non-Affiliation Declaration

PalBreed is an independent, fan-made tool created for Palworld players.

• We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by Pocketpair, Inc.
• All Palworld related names, marks, characters, images, and game assets are trademarks or intellectual property of Pocketpair, Inc.
• This Service is not an official Pocketpair product or service in any capacity.

3. Service Description

PalBreed provides the following browser-based tools:

• Breeding Calculator — select parent Pals to find offspring; or select a target Pal to find all possible parent combinations
• Cake Calculator — input breeding count to view ingredient requirements
• Pal Pages (/pals/[pal-name]) — view Pal stats, breeding value, and work suitability
• FAQ — answers to common breeding questions

All core tools run in your browser. The Service also uses analytics scripts — see our Privacy Policy and §5 below.

4. Data Accuracy Disclaimer

4.1 Data Sources

Breeding combinations, Pal stats, and other game information are sourced from community-maintained projects, specifically tylercamp/palcalc (open-source breeding data, MIT License).

4.2 No Guarantee of Accuracy

• All data is provided "as is" for informational purposes only
• Game updates, community errors, or data-source limitations may affect accuracy
• Data version badges indicate the game build and date of the underlying data
• We do not guarantee that every combination is complete or error-free
• Do not treat this Service as an official source or as a guarantee of any in-game outcome

4.3 No Warranty

THE SERVICE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted or error-free operation, and accuracy or completeness of content.

4.4 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Service, including reliance on breeding calculator results or loss of locally stored data.

6. Permitted Use

You may use the Service for personal, lawful, non-commercial purposes: using the breeding and cake calculators, accessing Pal pages/FAQ/other content, and customizing your visual experience via the theme system.

Prohibited Use

• ❌ Use the Service for unlawful purposes
• ❌ Scrape, crawl, or bulk extract data at scale
• ❌ Misrepresent the Service as official or Pocketpair-endorsed
• ❌ Attempt to disrupt, overload, or compromise infrastructure
• ❌ Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Site Content (Our IP)

The Service's original code, UI/UX design, visual theme system, and written guides (excluding game-specific data) are our intellectual property.

7.2 Third-Party IP

• Palworld™ and all related characters, names, designs, images, and assets are trademarks and/or copyright of Pocketpair, Inc.
• Breeding data sourced from tylercamp/palcalc is used under the MIT open-source license
• If you believe any content infringes your copyright, contact feedback@palbreed.space with the relevant URL and a description

8. No Paid Features

The current version of the Service does not include paid features or subscription plans. If we introduce paid features or new data processing in future versions, these Terms will be updated accordingly.

9. Third-Party Services

Their services are governed by their own terms and privacy notices. We will update these Terms before enabling additional third-party services (e.g., AI API, payment processing).

10. Availability and Changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that the Service will remain compatible with every future game version.

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
